While the location is great for quick access to Liverpool, the hotel itself felt basic, with tired rooms and no breakfast included. the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nearby parks and landmarks like Rimrose Valley and the Isla Gladstone Conservatory provided lovely spots for family bonding. a decent stay, but definitely room for improvement.

The total stay was enjoyable on a business trip. Everything was perfect, even so a few employees were not professional. The double room was immaculate with an electric kettle, central heating and an electronic key card. Besides, the parking was onsite. Had cool drinks in the main bar.

I had a lovely Christmas stay at this hotel! The staff were super friendly, making me feel right at home. Plus, it's conveniently located just across from the train station, so exploring the area was a breeze. Onsite parking was a huge plus too, which made things easy. the atmosphere was cozy, and I really enjoyed my festive break.
I did notice some cleanliness issues; my bathroom could have used a better clean. The Wi-Fi was a bit hit-or-miss, which was frustrating. the hotel could benefit from a little updating in terms of decor and facilities.

A Great Find for Business Trips!
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere and excellent value. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I appreciated the 24-hour reception. The rooms, while slightly dated, were immaculate and featured that classic super comfy bed I always look for. The location is ideal, being right next to Aintree Racecourse, and the rail station just across the road made commuting into Liverpool easy.
Rooms are showing signs of age.

review: The spacious twin room was nicely tidied with soft beds that ensured a restful night. Clean facilities were appreciated, though they do show signs of age. Located conveniently near the Mersey rail station made exploring effortless, and the powerful shower was a definite highlight. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-08-15}

I was eager to visit the Recycling Discovery Centre as I am passionate about sustainability and wanted to learn about recycling initiatives. Choosing the Stables Inn, Aintree made perfect sense due to its proximity. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to easily research my visit. The Toby Carvery's meals were fantastic and the convenience of having it available for all three meals a day was a real bonus!
Rooms were a bit tired, beds old and worn out but comfortable for an overnight stay. Breakfast not starting until 8 am in the pub opposite left people waiting outside in the rain.

I really loved the comfort and quality of my stay, with a friendly staff who made sure all my needs were met, and the best part was how close I was to beautiful Stanley Park and only a short drive to the city center for more lovely landmarks.
